Gloria Woods

Gloria Woods has a passion for particularly single mothers, the incarcerated and their families. Her passion was birthed out of the struggles she faced as she provided for the care of her children and the recent incarceration of her middle daughter. Gloria Woods experienced depression, physical and emotional abuse all of which she overcame. Despite the struggles she is a faithful servant of the LORD and has a strong calling as an Evangelist.

It is her desire to help the incarcerated and their families and ultimately find avenues to provide scholarships for inmates once they are released back into the community. She is also grateful for the book collaboration Pain to Purpose hosted by Dr. Tamara Harris in which she as well as others share their story of victory.Broken Shackles: A Mothers Journey is dedicated to the memory of her granddaughter Myleayha Danielle Woods who tragically passed away on October 13, 2009.

Kellie Watkins is the author of If These Shoes Could Talk: The Awakening and Savvy Diva’s Take On…44 Days of Random Thoughts and Observations, under her pen name, Jahzara the Savvy Diva. The jaw-dropping novel and quirky collection of short stories were birthed from her unique outlook on life and her dramatic pursuit of happiness.
